Here is a hack to display the last post from the last thread in a scrolling textbanner.

I use it together with vbshell, but you should be able to use it with vbulletin as well.

It's not that sofisticated, this hack, but I had not seen this one before.

Hope you like it.

Unfortunately haven't found a free host yet, to show you what it looks like.

Will keep you informed when I have found a host, if anyone is interested.

Unfortunately it seems that the MySql connection on their server is not 100% reliable, so sometimes it shows error #10 instead of the pagecounter, sorry for this.

It is not a VB3 engine, just a parsed copy!
