On my search for a alternative to vBa and vBPortal i have found MKPortal which is is a free Portal/Content Management System (CMS) which seamlessly integrates with the most popular forum softwares (Simple Machines, Invision Power Board 1.3 and 2.x, phpBB, and vBulletin). It uses the forum user management system and other features and adds many powerful modules to create and manage a light but powerful web site. MKPortal has an intuitive user interface and is very simple to install and administer.

MKPortal Features:

* Forum Themes/Skins importing (use forum skins for portal)
* User-selectable Themes/Skins (lets members choose portal and forum skins)

It works fine (even with 3.5.1) and gives a lot Features that the others did not have.

I thought it might be interesting someone else .. this is why i posted it here.

I requested "Meo" the Developer to release it here by him but i don?t think that there is a Chance. This Project is to Big to make a second Support here.

Amazing - there are so many vBulletin Owners that are crying for a free Gallery, Download Section, Linklist, Portal but nobody has to say something here about ?? :surprised:

I prefer Vba cmps, it is looking more pretty and it have everything I need, and b.t.w. you don't think your promotion for mkp is too much excessively?
