Only possible if you use an html WYSIWYG editor. The default editor for vBulletin will not do that. Although the one coming out in version 3.0 will.

ok ! i will use the Wysiwyg editor mate but i need it 4 version 2.28 i have rie wysiwyg versions before but none actually showed the smilie in the text are like seen on vb3 betta !

Still I won't upgrade to vB3, it's too bugy, so I'll have to figure something out for this. Fil, have you looked at HiveMail's WYSIYG interface code? |

No offense but you can't say vB3 is "buggy." All you have to run on is 20-some public betas that are constantly being updated via a master CVS. Like myself, you've never even seen a shred of vB3 code.
I know HiveMail has the WYSIWYG editor but the concept for all of them is the same: a content-editable container. The problem in vBulletin's case is that you have to convert all the HTML that's entered into vB code, and that's not necessarily easy. |

Conerting it to vB code is not the worst idea.
Still I can't get into HiveMail WYSIWYG code which deals with ace.gif, how can I add new items? No idea. Chen is so busy ... |
