Forum Display Enhancements - Tabs Add System for vBulletin 4 (sstab advanced)

Review:
This mod allows you to easily add and remove tabs on the navigation bar using the adminCP. Tabs can appear as "selected" after being clicked, automatically deselecting the other tabs.
You also have the option of indicating which groups are allowed and not allowed to see the tabs via usergroup id.
Tabs may operate as normal select tabs, as drop-down menus. or as links to external sites.

The Hack only use 1 SQL sentence to create All the Menu, no Template edition

This Hack allows you to create tabs at the bar of vBulletin 4.0

Installation:
- Upload all files in the UPLOAD folder to the root of the forum
- Import the product 'product-evbs_sstab_advanced.xml'
- Configure and manage your tabs in the "Tabs vbSoporte" menu in AdminCP
- Do not forget to "Allow Overwrite" if you are Updating to 2.0

To use this Option only Write the Part that Always repeat, por example for this URLs:

1. http://x.com/showthread.php?1-Nuevo (Main thread)
2. http://x.com/showthread.php?1-Nuevo&p=13#post13 (Post in thread)
3. http://x.com/showthread.php?1-Nuevo/page2 (One page of thread)

You Only Set:

1. Tab Label = Any Name
2. URL = http://x.com/showthread.php?1-Nuevo (or only http://x.com/showthread.php?1- that have the ID of thread)
3. Tab mode: URL_PARAMETER

About Phrases as TITLES
When you create a New Element (Tab, menu, etc) You see a box to put only the variable Phrase name


To create New Phrase go to
Languages & Phrases -> Phrase Manager -> Add New Phrase

Tab Sub-Links don't work for me. latest version 2.0.5, VB 4.1.1.

In both the default theme and custom theme.

Small issue, and I mean small. The tab's that are inserted don't have properly formed.

Just edit the Tabs en vBulletin plugin added by this mod.
Find

$menucompleto = "<li $selecionado><a class='navtab' href='".$item_sublink[0]['url']."' target='".$item_sublink[0]['target']."'>".$new_title."</a>$link_submenu<li>";

and replace the final <li> with </li>

This will make it standards compliant.

I would like to ask a question
how about with the dinamic link?

I would like to add a tab regarding the blog where the script is:

http://www.forum.com/blog.php?u=1

the part in bold it is the user id of the user, that obviously it change based of the user logged
I would like to add a tab "my blog" where the users just insert their blogs...
How i can add the dynamic part on that link?

EDIT: Nevermind.... I have figured out a way with a small plugin edit
I can now use {u} or {s} in urls which get replaced by userid and securitytoken respectively.

Can you explain us wich is the edit that you done? maybe we can do too.

Hi,

first of all i want to thank you for this ADDON ! Good work!

However, there are some minor issues:

1. The "Forum"-tab is not hidden even if i have chosen the corresponding setting in the backend.

2. I am using the "AWARD-Sytem"-ADDON (YAAS) as well. I created a tab being directed to the list of all awards. However, if i click on the tab the list is shown, but the corresponding tab does not stay active, instead the "FORUM"-tab is shown as being active ...

Any ideas how to overcome these problems ?
