Miscellaneous Hacks - [DBTech] vBNominate v1 (vB4) [AJAX]

vBNominate is an advanced nomination system. Several different types of nominations are available and it is fully automated to keep your users engaged and interested in your communities activity while keeping maintenance down.

Uses
As admin you will be able to create several different types of nominations. The nominations can either end with the top nominated items winning or a separate poll will automatically be created with the top items.

Once the poll is completed the nomination is updated automatically with the results. No manual intervention is needed on your part! You can specify the type of nomination to be run or you can let it run on several different types of items like threads, polls, blogs, etc.

The nominations system will make it easy for users to have competitions for the best post, thread and more while browsing the forum. No need to go to a special page to vote, all voting can be done for any post from any thread via AJAX.

Instructions
Here are some basics on how to get the nominations started.
1) Make sure you modify the usergroups that will be allowed to nominate.
ACP->Usergroups->UserGroup Manager
2) Create a rotating nomination
ACP->DBTech - vBNominate-> Create Rotating
An example, if you want a weekly Thread nomination, set Type to Thread, Cycle to Weekly, End Date way far in the future, like Dec 31 2058. After you submit new Nomination go to step 3.
3) Edit new Inactive Nomination
ACP->DBTech - vBNominate-> Current Nominations
You should now have an inactive nomination. Edit it if you need to make any changes then set it to active.

You should now have a Nomination link in your postbit. At the end of the week it will automatically end and start a new one on the day you specified.

Just updated this but when i view my profile i get at the very top of the page:

Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in [path]/dbtech/vbnominate/includes/class_profileblock.php on line 102

Just to add, I also tried the :

If you open
dbtech/vbnominate/includes/class_profileblock.php

Find
PHP Code:
if (in_array($data_data['nomnom_id'], $winner_ids))
and change it to
PHP Code:
if (in_array($data_data['nomnom_id'], (array)$winner_ids))
That should fix it

But it does nothing

Nice mod. Considering the PRO version to het the widget and side block.
Works with 4.2.0

I had some issues figuring out why the "nominate" button wouldn't show up.
It seems me as an admin can't nominate and therefore the button didn't show up?
Once I logged in as a regular user the button was there.

Is there a way to move the "forum home" block at the bottom of the forum or even in another dedicated page?

PS. You should change the options for the LITE version in the feature list. It says widget and side block are also available in the LITE version.

Sorry about that, does it happen whether the user has nominations or not?

If a user has nominations will the error still happen?

I'm not sure what would be causing that error.

That's weird. I'm not sure what's going on there. Would it be possible to get ftp access and a user account that can access user profiles?

Great mod and thanks for letting us have a 'lite' version as always...

Now, I can't see anything when you click on user profile; Vbnominate
Or does it ONLY show when a user has actually received / completed an award / the nomination process?
