How to change the width of the skin???When I saw in wide screen 1280x800, it seems to be good. When I saw in normal 1024x768, it is so bad Because the skin is equal to monito's resolution so we cant see the transparent!Anyone help pls...
The reason it won't work in 3.7.3 properly is because it was made for an earlier version. The security token was added after this theme was made.
After looking through this theme, I found that only the CSS, header and footer were actually modified (footer was only for credits).
Your work here is highly appreciated. This transparent style has a lot going for it, and for you to step up to the plate and improve it is really commendable. May I ask what the status is regarding this modified theme of yours related to the 3.7.3 standards? I really like what you've done but want to be sure that it is current with the vB protocols vis a vis the 'security token' you mentioned.
I installed this and love it, but, when I made my logo, I added ( <!-- /logo -->
<img src="images/logo.jpg" alt="" style="opacity:0.9
;filter:alpha(opacity=30)" /> ) to make it transparent like the skin( just try different numbers(:.08 or :07 until you get what you want. And desktops make a great backround, Great style, thanks
Can the opaqueness of the whole skin be set in the style manager? Or is the idea to manually make a background image more transparent? People on my board are complaining of difficulty in reading the forum, even though the background image is a pale blue sky image, so I'm looking for pointers on cutting back on the transparency a bit. I used ade_dnb's "Transparencity +" skin from post #76, by the way.
In the style manager I see this file is the apparent background, so I wonder if I need to render a new image file with less transparency? "images/trans/gradients/gradient_tcat3.png"

That can't be done without changing the images. The image that is used as transparent overlay has a width of 1000px so everyone with the "wrong" resolution will have this problem.
I haven't heard anything back and he hasen't posted in here for a while so heres my "fixed" version.
See above post for details and install instructions.
I noticed that since we use the postbit_legacy option on the left-hand side that the thread appears to "zig-zag" a bit on this postbit_legacy's righthand border, based on how much content is in the person's posts. Is there a way to easily alter the template in order to keep a unifomity to the width of the postbit_legacy column?
[Update: Apparently this un-uniform postbit_legacy column is seen in the admin/moderator groups only. Registered users see the column all uniform.]

I would of thought that you would have to redo the images and make them less transparent. I think theres 9 that you have to do for the main background.
