Facebook Profiles

Brought to you by http://www.eibuddy.com

What is it?
Facebook profiles rewrite.
For vbulletin 3.7.0

Update: It does work the same way as vbulletin is set, so if you use Profile Customize it works the same way. See screenshot #4

Demo:

This is how I implemented it on my main site
http://www.eicorvette.com/member.php?u=1

This is only a profile layout edit in a facebook style to implement with your site, and does not includes the Gifts Product you see on the demos.

For a full facebook style get it from here
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=184016

=============================
Install:

1- Download profile_templates.zip file and copy/paste content to yours.
(use a test style always, and backup before you try anything )

- The arrow will be a conditional issue or if you didnt upload the images to the facebook style folder? the ones provided are extra, so you still need to use the default vb comes with.

- On the notification drop down, you are right, they will not drop down if there are no notifications, but it leaves the arrow there so people will click and it wont do anything. Really I didnt find a good place for the notifications except for putting them back on the navbar
Thanks for the reply. Actually even with two new PM notifications the menu doesn't drop down. Am I alone in experiencing this?

I'm trying this on my test forum, so I tried it on one of my styles I copied the text from the txt files to each of those files in that style.

Now was I suppose to copy over what was there already, or add to it?

I copied over it, and my profile doesn't look right at all.

Or is there something else that is needed to be done?
Here is how it looks now

You'll need to use the 'brightness' style.

great work chris, I hope you'll update it for 3.7.2 asap

I've already installed it on 3.7.2 but restored it soon aftewards since it created a complete mess and anarchy on the page although all functionalities and modules were visible and usable. So i guess that problem was somewhere in that CSS file.

There is no reason why It wouldnt work on 3.7.2 if the friends.php file is no longer on this hack.

I have 3.7.2 and it didn't work on my site either. The block with the profile picture got widened, and an "about-me" block was released from the others, but that was it.

SGL.

it's not that it doesn't WORK... all the functionalities work OK.

the thing is that it produces a complete mess on the page. that's why I think that something is wrong in the CSS file... probably with positioning properties.

For some reason this doesn't work with my style or my website what so ever. Am I missing something? Doing something wrong? I'm using the original vbulletin style and nothing is working right...
