vBCredits - Ultimate Points System Details »» | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
vBCredits is the ultimate points system for your vBulletin!
Click here for the vB3.7 compatible version Thank you to everyone who voted us MOTM Features:
Just follow the directions carefully in the zip based on whether you are clean installing or upgrading Fully integrated with vBulletin and easily integrated with third party scripts: Many hacks allow you to specify a points system by entering the table and column for the points data. Use TABLE: user COLUMN: credits when integrating vBCredits with such hacks (note: you may need to include your table prefix with some hacks)! If you are unsure about integration - ask me! Why is this version not the gold version yet? vBCredits 1.4rc1 went through a long bugtesting process at the official site, and rc2 is largely bug free in its entirety. However, *it is missing most of the admin help and post/thread deletion actions are temporarily removed while I figure out how to fix them. Footnotes: Thank you for using vBCredits, I would be happy to hear your feedback and correct anything that comes up. For more tailored support, please indicate you have installed this hack. Use of this free hack requires that you retain the copyright line at the bottom of the forum (PM me otherwise). If you do not agree with this, please do not use vBCredits - thank you for your understanding and support! Show Your Support

Firstly - amazing hack. Kudos to you! Voted and marked!
Just one question though: I've tried to change the credits so that it only shows one decimal using the VBCredits Global Settings ("Number of Displayed Decimal Points" is set to 1), but when I check my forum, the decimal points still go like 859725.266666667 instead of the 859725.2 that I'm hoping for. Did I forget to change something? |

Does that occur everywhere or in one place in particular? If somewhere specific please tell me where. If everywhere, mght have to check your board.
Keep in mind decimals are not removed, just hidden, so they are still there, and will always appear inside the ACP, such as the user editor. |

It actually happens in all instances where I add the code for the vbcredits to show up, such as in my and other people's member profiles, postbits, etc. I'd like to keep all but one decimal place hidden, but am not quite sure how.
Aside from the vbCredits Global Setting, is there anywhere else I should modify? |

Oh you are adding the code manually? It is best that you use the template hooks instead, 1.4 provides you with better controls for styling it on your own, but it is not publicly released yet.

I think I'm using a style system where the template hooks don't work for some reason, so am basically adding them in as I go along. Although, if the credits itself shows up accurately, shouldn't the decimal do so as well? *confused*
All I'm really doing right now is adding $post[credits] and that alone to postbit_legacy, actually. |
