Im running the RPG as well now. After fixing some of the templates, it runs very smooth now. Great job!
Theres one thing I can't figure out though. How can people actually use spells, weapons and potions? The shop is integrated and all, but that part doesn't work. Right now I only have a bunch of monks slapping each other on my forum.
It would be great if someone could point me to the direction.

You have to update the Battle Type of each category in the Edit Items section

I went to Digital Toxicity to see if I could answer my question by viewing your RPG system, but was getting internal errors everywhere. Any who ..
I set up my RPG system to have lots of Catagories. I have Armor, Shields, Gloves, Helmets, Spells, Weapons etc and many more.
There seems to be a big problem when people buy one of each armor types. While testing, the most powerful weapon couldn't do any damage to someone with 5 armor types. I'm guessing all the armor buffs add up with each other?
Now when you get 2 people with a lot of armor, weaps dont have any effect. The only time damage is done is when the limit reaches 100%.
What would you suggest I do? Up the weapon buffs ..which would be bad with those with no armor. Or should I put all armor in the same cat so they can only buy 1 armor type item. Or should I lower/raise rAtk rDef mAtk mDef in the class and race settings. Or do I need to start over and scratch my current system? I have over 1000 items mind you ...

wth that has gotta be the biggest itemshop ever!
Well. I do not suggest having too many weapon categories, because the defence buff is indeed cumulated into the final buff.
Possible suggestions:
* Raise the weapon buff, and lower the price of armor
* Make a new category with "+Atk +Def" items, with either dirt cheap items, or with huge buff values (or a healthy mix )
* Remove some categories like "Rings", "Tiaras", "Underwear" and "Codpieces"

Yeah, I did go a little over board adding items ..but you made this thing so much darn fun!! I guess it will be just trial and error to see if I can balance the system out.

Yup trial and error. Beware of making weapons dealing too little damage, because on my forum I have this problem. We are starting to afford Cure's, and we got 1500 HP and deal 60 damage with swords. D'oh
Hence why Im making Weapons Skills, costing PP to use and deals increased damage with base value in the original weapon buff
And about the paypal, no havnt got one yet. But its only 27 days till Im old enough to get a CC, so if I find a bank without a yearly fee, Ill get one then
I have been wanting to install this fantastic hack for a while now. I have finally got around to doing it but noticed in the req_limitations.txt file that I MUST have uCash and uShop installed. Does that mean that without uCash and uShop installed this hack wont work and generate heaps of errors as decribed in the file?
