A few weeks back i asked for help coding a style for my forums and Bumpaneer from the yaxay.com forums was generous enough to help out.
All I ask is that if you make modifications to the style that you share them here.
Included are the font and .psd file for the header as well.
[edit]xml file updated to be xhtml compliant. should help load times. no javascript errors.[/edit]
[edit]I am adding the full .psd files used to create the theme. This should help those of you wanting to make large modifications. Please share any interesting modifications you make, if you don't want to share the psd or xml file then at least let us see a picture of how it came out. PSD files [/edit]
[edit]Some people have been inquiring into a branding free option. I am offering a branding free option for $100. Email or PM me if you would be interested in a branding free version of the style[/edit]

Also if any of you got things working with forum additions such as vbadvanced or other forum hacks I am sure everyone would appreciate if you would share your modifications.
Nice style, but why all the JavaScript errors, + there are over 300 html errors just on the forum home page, the forumdisplay page has over 500 errors and not 1 page is valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!
IE, Netscape, Firefox work ok, because they fix errors most errors, but other browser it looks really bad. The reason why is many <tables> are not closed or not properly written....
For the people having problems with vb additions, check the way $spacer_open and $spacer_close were used in the grassy knoll templates. they are to start and end the white box. so usually they are included in the navbar and footer templates. you may have to take them out of other templates so it looks correct.
Bumpaneer has updated grassyknoll. I updated the attachment on the first post. The new version is now xhtml compliant. The load times should be greatly improved. There are no more javascript errors. New posts are now italic so that they are more noticable. To update you only need to upload the .xml file (everything else is the same).
All thanks should go to bumpaneer.
Regarding the trouble with forum additions Bumpaneer told me the following:
Quote:
the way $spacer_open and $spacer_close is used is different than vb default.
i use them to open and close the white boxes you see on the pages
$spacer_open appears under the navbar and $spacer_close right above the footer.
hope that helps.
Also my only request I made when posting this is that if anyone has made some interesting modifications that they share these as i have shared the original. If you have gotten a forum addition to look good with grassy knoll please share what you changed and post a screenshot. I am sure others would find that helpful.
[edit] looks like bumpaneer posted while i was writing this, more info in his posts[/edit]
