Alternatively, you can manually handle bounced mail if you so wish. Automatic "Unsubscribe" Link Creation: If the user receiving the mail has access to unsubscribing, a secure link to unsubscribe themselves from the mailing list will be automatically added to the bottom of the mail. It does not require the user to be logged in, so it complies with spam policies set forth by mail providers. Mail History: Each past sent mail can be viewed at any time from the front-end. Advanced Subscription Management: Users can quickly and easily (un)subscribe from the mailing list via the mailing list directory, or the admin can manually change the subscription status in the AdminCP. Bounced Mail Threshold: When an admin-configured number of mails bounce from the same email address, the user is automatically removed from mailing lists and all other email-related vBulletin features, and notified via PM what happened to their account, as well as directions to change their email addresses. There could be a configuration issue preventing it from fetching bounced mail. Have you tried manually running the bounced mail scheduled task?
Make sure you have display_errors turned on so that you can see any error messages thrown. Fillip |

I am very late posting this , I purchased the Pro version last year and did a mail out then. When I sent the email, there were a couple of links in it and when members received the emails the links had been shrunk and were non valid.
Here is an example of what a link looked like in a received email: http://www.austech.info/rules-inform...ge-week-2.html Obviously I dont want this to happen again , does anyone have any ideas why the url's have been shortened ? Thanks |

This happens if you are not using the WYSIWYG editor and you paste a block of text that had a link shortened. For instance, if I copy your post and put it into my post, I would see the truncated link just like in your post, even if the real link was expanded.
Does that make sense? Fillip |
