I'm trying to fix up the currently released port of vBJournal 1.1b to make it much more stable and usable.. Progress on this can be found at EvB, and all being well should be released by the end of next week..

I'm however having a couple of problems with this, and would appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

Yeah, it's code related.. :disappointed:
The only way I could fix it is by studying showthread.php for hours and hours and see how jelsoft do it by default, which I don't really fancy doing to be honest.!

from what i read of your problem (post, not code) you might be able to do a dirty fix with a conditional and a $clause in the query so

PHP Code:

if (&page >= 1) {
$clause  = blah + 1
} else {
$clause = blah
}


// then have the query down here
SELECT (*)
FROM journal_entry
WHERE journalid = $bbuserinfo[userid]
AND $clause

lol na i mean theres some things i would pay for but journal isnt one of em
i don't mind giving my appreciation in the way of donations but paying for a journal i don't think thats worth it as its only useful as an addon script

coupled with that if i wanted to use a seperate script i'd just get a free blogger

im still tinkering with it and i am also still bit occupied with my paid project but i hope to resume this project fully soon
