For vB version that have CKEditor, you don't edit it in many places, only CKEditor template, i.e. editor_ckeditor.

In that template you can add whatever html code you want, including tinypic implementation, but of course, you can add additional image services. Just add them at the end of template. Then it will work in all places where editor is used.

It's template edit, not mod. If you use TMS, you can manage your templates with greater convenience.
