I think with vb4 the proof is in the pudding. And if IB's sites* do not use vb4, then that's bad advertising IMHO.
* yes I know vb.org is technically not owned by IB. Just on IBs server and supporting the vb product in many ways.

I really dont understand this mentality that all IB sites "must" run vb4 to advertise it, showcase it, whatever. Its just nonsense. The only site this could possibly apply to is vbulletin.com, since that is the product and support site - and hey, it is running vb4.

They have. Can't quite remember who, but pretty much every modification you guys make is replicated in some way and released by the regular members here.

vb4 is an incremental rewrite of vbulletin. So its heading for being a rewritten, new product, released by a different company. Showing that many IB sites run well on vb4.x does bring across a statement of reliability and confidence in their own product. The proof is in the pudding. At least for some.
