DESCRIPTION:
This is a Medals/Awards system. Admin can give members awards, and award icons will be displayed in member's profile, posts, as well as in a award list.

FEATURES:
In AdminCP
- Can Create/Edit/Delete/Reorder categories/sub-categories in ACP (with category name and description)
- Can Create/Edit/Delete awards in ACP (with Award Name, Description, Icon URL, Image URL)
- Can Move one (or all) award(s) from one category to another
- Can set some awards un-classified (not displayed for public)
- Can re-order awards in awards showcase
- Issue awards to members, based on username or userid, with Issue Reason
- Remove awards from members
+ Writes granting/removing awards to the log

In ModCP

Ok...I managed to get this installed but nothing was showing up in my admin control panel and after trying a bunch of things decided to uninstall.

now i try to re-install and i keep getting a database error. Does anyone know whats going on and what I have to do to get this program to work?

Originally I had it installed fine and the "Awards" tab was showing up on the forum but when I clicked it I would get a 404 error. Also, the control panel was not showing up in my admincp?

I need to figure why I can't install it now and also why it wasn't working the first time I had it installed correctly!

I ended up having to get some help from someone with more experience in installing mods. I think the error was caused by a mistake I made when I uninstalled it.

It would be nice to have a more detailed instruction manual on how to install mods for those of us who are very new to bulletin board modifications. I found that the instructions were not very thorough in explaining exactly how to install the mod (where to place the files for FTP, what each file does and if it's required for installation, what to do once you've ftped the files, etc..) For some of the advanced coders this all seems obvious but not so much for us just trying to break into this business.

Please don't forget about us newbs, everyone was green once.

A quick shout out to Rafa-el for helping fix all the mistakes I made in my database and then installing the mod correctly for me. Thanks so much Rafa-el.

Is it possible to allow Moderators to view the Request Awards and also accept and deny them, I tried a few methods of getting this to work, but I am not a expert with this. If anyone has any clue on how I would go about getting the Request Awards tab into the ModCP and work it would be great!

I just ran into this also. I ended up dropping all the awards tables from the database and reinstalled. Fixed it right up.... :up:

I found two problems....Just giving you guys a heads up. Screen Shots to follow.

The first one is an error message that happens when a user tries to request or recommend an award.

The Second is a display problem that seems to happen on an Apple OS. Its happening on iPads and I had a user confirm it was happening on his iMac running 10.4.11 and also on his iTouch.

I would like to fix this problem as I may just have to disable this mod until it gets worked out.
