Allow Thumbnail View To All Groups · **Released**: 08-01-2004

ALLOW THUMBNAIL VIEW TO ALL GROUPS Installation Script 1.3

This hack will enable you to provide thumbnail preview to all groups. It does not change download permissions. For example, you can allow your visitors to "window-shop".

This hack is great if you want to convert "registered members" into "Premium Members".

It will also add a short message to users who do not have download permissions.

You will need to modify:

attachment.php
includes/function_showthread.php

And, add 1 new phrase under Show Thread.

I hired a programmer to do an attached image watermarking hack for me, and I had him throw in the option of allowing guests to view thumbnails also. Everything is done and working well. I'll be posting it as a free, unsupported, modification soon.
