What Does This Hack Do?[hr]hr[/hr]
This is an update to my 3.7.x version of this hack, with the addition of show additional links to view your threads or posts from a forum you are browsing (if you not in a forum, the links do not appear).

This is a simple hack that adds extra options on the Search drop down list on the navbar which allows your members to search for their own posts and threads start by themselves.

There are no file or template changes at all, and is fully phrased.

This was a request by odeezie in post #22 of this thread.


vBulletin Version Compatibility[hr]hr[/hr]
This hack can be used with vBulletin versions 3.6.0 - 3.8.8.

Hack Support/Feature Requests[hr]hr[/hr]
IMPORTANT: This hack is no longer supported.


Install Instructions[hr]hr[/hr]

1. Unzip ms_vopt_38.zip
2. Upload bitfield_ms_vopt_38.xml to your /includes/xml folder.
3. Import the ms_vopt_38.xml into vB using the AdminCP Product Manager. If upgrading from an earlier version, then set Allow Overwrite to Yes.
4. In the Usergroup Manager edit the usergroup(s) you want to see the links (disabled by default for all usergroups).

Uninstall Instructions[hr]hr[/hr]

1. Delete the bitfield_ms_vopt_38.xml file from your /includes/xml folder.
2. Uninstall the product in vB using the AdminCP Product Manager.

No, there's no ms_vopt_permissions entry in the field column.

What can be doing this?? All other plugins/products doesn't need to change images permissions in signatures. Before I uninstall this product totally, permissions to images signature was off. Then I set to Yes and it gives me an db error, because I didn't delete bitfield of this product.

After that, the db error disappeared and the options set to Allow imgs. Now some users can add imgs and others not.. For example, I can add images with my account, but with other regular account I can't. And with other one that I try everything's ok.

I'm confused. Do u know what can be causing this problem?

You are probably going to need to login to the vBulletin Members Area and create a support ticket with vbulletin to see if they can fix the issue, as I support this hack only and not vBulletin itself.

Hi all,

It is with regret that after over 4 years (and thousands of hours) spent providing free support for my free hacks released here, as of today I will no longer be able to provide support for free.

This is due to being unemployed for a while, being strapped for cash and unable to rely on the virtually non-existent donations from here to help to pay the bills or put food on the table for my family.
