We will most likely perform the next major upgrade of vBulletin.org using vBulletin 4.0.x.
thank you very much marco for replying to my concerns. i'm very pleased with that answer. it is what i was hoping for.
paul it is not yet even known when exactly 4.0.2 will appear or how long it will last, so i find that hard to foresee, although i can imagine 4.0.3 coming out before a site as big and well enhanced as vb.org can make the jump. lets just wait and see.
ooh i wish a small bottle of dr.pepper wasn't 1,19 euros in germany. that really killed my addiction fast.
i think the reason so many people are asking is because it's great to see some mods in action on a forum software that they are using.
by the way who kicked nexialys? how come he's only a guest now?
1- i kicked myself
2- your first thought is completely pointless and goes nowhere ... because on vb.org, there NEVER had any demo of any product released here... vbulletin never was a showroom for any addon. it's a site for volunteers who support the guys in need, period.
stop trying to find pointless arguements. the site does not need to be upgraded to the latest version of vB 4.0... if you want a showroom, visit http://vbulletin.com

I'm inclined to agree here. What version they are running here makes no difference on what mods I choose to download and install for my current version. The usability of this site is finely tuned and I like it that way, I just don't see a real justification for .org upgrading.
