Here is a business style I designed. I used allot of the default vB colors and graphics, but in the end I think it all worked out. I have added some rollover buttons on the left side of the forum.

1. Open your ftp client to your server. Go to your forum's images folder, open it, and create a styles folder.
2. Next, upload the "corporateblue" folder via FTP to your server, into your forum's styles folder, so that your image path is images/styles/corporateblue/buttons, for example.
3. After you've uploaded the folder, open your admin control panel on your forum, and import the xml file, by going to Styles & Templates > Download / Upload styles > Import Style XML File.
4. Click on the Browse button, locate the corporate-blue.xml file, and double-click it so it loads in that box, then hit the Import button.

Now open the folder labeled "Upload to forum root" and upload the file in that folder to your forum root.

That's it!

How to edit your buttons in the side column.

1. Go into adminCP | Styles & Templates | Style Manager | Edit Templates | Forum Home Templates | Forumhome.
2. Now below the $navbar you will see the following:

PHP Code:
<div id="menu2">
                        <
ul>
                                <!--
CSS Tabs -->
<
li><a id="current" href="http://www.YOURSITE.com">YOUR SITE</a></li>
<
li><a href="Link 2">Button 2</a></li>
<
li><a href="Link 3">Button 3</a></li>
<
li><a href="Link 4">Button 4</a></li>
<
li><a href="Link 5">Button 5</a></li>
<
li><a href="Link 6">Button 6</a></li>

                        </
ul>
                </
div
This is where you edit your buttons. I have a sample one done for you to see how to do it.

To add a new button just add this line above the </ul> tag:

PHP Code:
<li><a href="Link 2">Button 2</a></li
I hope you enjoy this style.

Thanks
Chris

If you're having the same issue as MrBurns, then you need to make sure that ALL of your forums have a parent forum (or category).

Hey,

I'm using your skin here: http://shortystreet.co.nz and would love to know how to make the header (just the header) stretch right across the page. It looks a bit odd at the moment with the white down either side.

Thanks mate! This skin is really good. *Hits installed

Thank you Ohiosweetheart, worked like a charm. I have two hidden forums for testing and planners(helpers) in my forum. After I made the parent forum the Entrance Portal for both it works as advertised.
Thanks again.

Hi, i have downloaded and tried to upload this into my vbulletin (version 3.7.4) that's running off a local server on my computer. the images are all broken links and the menu2.gif is not working at all. I have all the files uploaded correctly, and i had to adjust a couple url's in the xml file as my folder is called 'forums' not 'forum'. do you think its a compatibility problem between this download being compatible with 3.7.0 and not 3.7.4? what could it be?? any ideas?

I really love the left hand navigation buttons, wish they could be static on every page though! thoughts?

Thanks

Emily

Well, i figured out most of the problem...very dumb, just had to do with what i named the folder to... anyway, it works on 3.7.4, but the menu2.gif still doesnt work, even with the postbit changed...hmmm... any ideas here?? the links are all there but no image. i cant really send you the link as its running off a server on my computer rather than live on the net...

one other question, i want to add a flash header to this...how do i code that into this?

Thanks VERY much in advance...

Em

Update: got the postbit working for menu2.gif, there were some extra spaces in the code that was posted that i had to go through and delete...works great now.

Same question as everyone else is how can i get the left hand nav on every page? as well as my last question about coding a flash header into this template.

thanks!

Emily
