Thanks for the reply, and your helpful comments. I can see where I went wrong now - I'd already installed the style from the 1st release, so I only imported the updated XML. I've found the images now
And yes you're right, we do use the postbit template. Folks have got used to it now, and it works well with the fluid styles. I'll try your suggestion regarding postbit/postbit legacy on my test board. If that doesn't work, maybe comparing the templates will lead to a coding solution eventually. Thanks for the help  |

Ok so with the help of Hoof I have decided to add something that is easier for me to do. I added an additional navbar but have one problem. I can't add it directly underneath the buttons navbar.
My post for help in another thread. optrex, I have looked in the navbar template but I don't see: <!-- nav buttons bar --> <div align="center"> in the navbar template. I am trying to install my additional navbar directly underneath the buttons. Currently it is attached to the welcome module. I put all my coding in the top of the navbar template but that doesn't work. See here: www.thepublicenemy.net What template do I need to modify for this to work? Any ideas? |

If you are trying to do this, then use this code (just copy/paste or examine the differences).

Hmmm I cannot get Blak-Ice to install... I ftp'd the black-ice folder in the "upload" folder to my forum's main folder.
I select the x.xml version for the XML and clicked import. I get the error... "No file uploaded and no local file found." What am I missing?? |

Are you selecting the file via the browse button or trying to enter the path of the file that is now on your server? It's easiest to do the former.
In AdminCP, go to : Styles & Templats - Download/Upload Styles - Import Style XML File - browse to the proper file - click Import at the bottom of the page. I'm guessing that you are trying to enter the path of the XML file that you recently uploaded to the server. If so, the proper path and file name must be in that field. I find it's always much easier to just upload/import the file from your own computer via the Browse button. |

Yeah, I made sure I did the Browse process correctly.
According to Steve M., over at vbulletin.com/forum, the PHP.INI has a temp directory set improperly (or something like that) which the system can't access. I have contacted my ISP to see if they'll get it fixed. I need to add a few mods too! |

Thanks for the PSD files but they're not the same ... at least not the header buttons. I know I'm new at this so many I just have no clue what I'm doing but ... this is how it looks when I created one ...
The text is white instead of blue ... the background has a blue tint instead of gray. If someone has made a new posts button for this skin, maybe I could just steal yours since, as you can see, I can't even figure out how to get the shadow text below the word. I love this skin though. My smilie pack that I've been using looks like crap against the dark background ... anyone got any good smilie packs you can recommend for dark skins? |
