vBulletin Nexus Current project release: BETA This works on vBulletin 3.7.X - 3.8.4
This product will allow visitors to join your community using their Facebook, Google, Yahoo or AIM account; and will allow your existing members to associate an existing forum account with one of the services - such as Facebook.
Please read the documentation and follow it exactly before requesting installation help. Please note, if you have heavily modified styles that are missing hooks - this product will not work and require additional installation steps.
You can go to the front page of your UserCP and disable it from posting to your wall for your account.
Unlinking an account depends on how you linked it to begin with. If the account was there before you can just delete the entry in the nonvbuser table and login normally with your old password. If the account was made by the bridge you will need to input a valid email and change your password with the lost password recovery forum. Once you have a valid password you can remove the entry in the database and you will be all set.
Is there an easier way to do this?
I don't understand what you mean about deleting the entry in the nonvbuser table. I assume that there is a table and in that table and I look for the user, and delete the associated name?
I have some friends that seem to have gotten their accounts mixed up.
All of you who installed vbnexus, can you post some statistics on the increase of membership? maybe a percentage will also do if you dont want to give out numbers.
Does vbnexus give you access to info like email address of the user or is it optional. Any other info we get or can get?
We've gotten about 300+ members that use this connection since I installed it. I thought fbconnect was going to be more, but it turns out that gmail is much more popular connection.

Do we have access to their email IDs? Via fbconnect or via Gmail?

absolutely not.
fb has a proxy email address, so they get alerts like normal. as far as my testing goes, gmail registrations do not get any emails, BUT I can see all the people who use gmail in the gmail friend finder.
