[DBTech] Dragonbyte Gallery v1 (vB4)
Developer Last Online: Mar 2023
Dragonbyte Gallery is a fully functional gallery system addon for your forum that will allow your users to create their own photo albums to store and display their images. You can run multiple instance of the gallery on the same site with the same files, yet have a completely different look and function because of the modular sytem it was built on. Users can customize how their gallery profile is displayed on each instance.

We appreciate the support! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Priority support & Product Demos available at: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Translations available @ our forum Support for translations handled by the translator in its respective threads only. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Major Features Multiple Instances You can run an unlimited number instances of the gallery on the same forum with same set of files! Each instance can have a different look and feel to it, and with enough work can have a completely different function because of the system we built it on. AJAX integration We used AJAX wherever we could to help reduce the page reloads Automatic resizing and thumbnail creation As long as your server can handle it, the users can upload whatever size pictures they want. The gallery will control the size displayed and stored, and will even create a thumbnail, all automatically. Users no longer have to worry about resizing their images to fit what your forum specifies. If you do not have a server with the power to resize images (GD image library can get pretty memory intensive) then you can set the gallery to reject images that do not fit into your size criteria. User Albums Users can create their own image albums to organize and display sets of their images. Albums can also be set to hidden and/or password protected. So users who want to have images for only certain friends or not visible to anyone else at all can easily organize them. Complete Feature List (Lite)

Hi nice mod works well , i have one issue though.
When i import files, from a folder uploaded via ftp and impost using the ACP mass import, i get few problems, not all files will import and the files that do import once in the gallery do not have the download button or a working download link, where as if i manually add an image i get the download link other than that working fine just have alot of images id like to add would be easier to do via ftp and import Thanks |

Is it possible to have sub Categories. For instense Main category "Sweden" and the sub categorys for some swedish towns for example.
When you click at Sweden you will see all photos in that category, but if you want to specify a town you can choose that. Thanks you alot! Regards |

@dragonbyte tech
When I go into general options and turn off the gallery all it does is remove the gallery tab on the navbar. It does not show the closed message. The gallery is still fully functional if you enter the gallery link into your browser. Is this the norm? I'm using v1.2.5 and 4.2pl3 |

There is something strange going on with this mod. any visitor can see the thumbnail *resized photos* and can enlarge them. however, members can see only large and out of the screen big pictures.... no resizing in members case....!! any idea why is that happening??

Hi, I just installed this addon, I have two quick questions.
First, should the newly installed gallery be showing in the navigation manager? If so it isn't. Second, the Gallery submenu (main page, add album, upload images) is showing on my vBadvanced homepage. Also the gallery tab is being marked as "selected" while on my vBadvanced homepage. Any idea why this is happening? |
