Yay, a radio system, an idea which i thought of in my sleep believe it or not .. maybe i work too hard.

Anyway this is a simple yet effective addition to your forum, and takes no time to install what so ever.

Features
  • ACP Features
    • vBRadio Channel Control
      • Add a new channel/radio station (Input: name, station stream url, for which cat)
      • Edit Existing Channels
      • Delete Exisiting Channels
    • vBRadio Category Control
      • Add a new category (Input: name)
      • Edit existing categories
      • Delete existing categories
        • Deletion Parameters
        • Choose to delete all channels within this category
        • Choose to move all channels within this category to another
  • Forum Interface Features
    • Radio pop's up in a window to keep while the user continues to browse
    • Drop down menu to select which station the user wishes to listen too
    • Player Controls
      • Volume Control
      • Play
      • Stop
      • Mute
      • Media Player Controls On/Off
  • Misc.
    • Only uses 1 SQL Query!

Anyone having difficulties with listening to any of the stations please be patient. Also make sure that you have windows media player and in some cases real player installed.

can someone help me? i have uploaded all files but when i start the installation the error message comes up,

Error. vbradio.xml located in directory '' was not found. Please make sure it is uploaded then press the submit button below

so i checked the file and for some reason when i view file i see nothing but when i go to edit file i can see the whole file. the other files i uploaded are viewable just not the xml file.

i have all my forums folders and files in a folder called Forums.

so i put the vBRadio.php in my Forums folder
and i put admin_vbradio.php /install_vbradio.php/vbradio.xml in my admincp

You've probably tried this, but either uninstall it and try again, or if that hasn't worked, it may have something to do with unlocking the MySQL tables.

Sometimes when I've gone to add features, I've had to get my ISP to set the server permissions, to allow VBulletin to create tables.

Hope that helps.

yea i tried it and nothing.

i got past the above error but now it states that there is nothing in the xml file.

i looked at the file and it there is nothing there when i view it but when i go to edit it, it is there.

I have the exact same problem. Everything is uploaded, but it says it can't find the file. So weird. I have installed other hacks no problem. But this just says it can't find it?

Anyone have a solution for this?

yea if you go to the file on your server and try and view it, you see nothing. but if you try and edit it, you get the full file.

i havent figured it out yet. the file is there before the download and obviously after, it just wont show up to view it.

i wish someone would help.
