I like it a lot. One thing I would like is to see the user have to put in a screen name or register first but no account is created until they have paid. I get emails all the time that say pending paid subscription 123 or 38......so on an so fourth but it is people starting the proccess but never finish. Maybe do something to cut that down. Once they pay then the pending subscription is created.
Amen to that!! So many new subscribers get confused and start the process, but don't finish it because they can't figure out that they have to go back to the forum page and register. I just end up refunding and then manually create accounts for them which is a waste of time. It just needs to be dummy proof for these people. Agree that having a registration page with a subscription drop down at the top or bottom of the same page would solve these problems so that both things happen at the same time. Thanks, looking forward to seeing any new updates!

I see. I've gotten a few requests for reversing this process and doing something like you are talking about, but that would be a very time-consuming rewrite of the add-on.
I can write a different version of the add-on independent from this, but it would be commercial (probably 27 USD). If this is something you are interested in, I may do it.

If it were to rid any registration confusion/issues and was fool proof for them, then I would pay $27 for that. I'm sure others may request a free option in the paid drop down as well.
I understand that you need to get more on board to make this worth your while though. Hopefully others will pipe up about it.

all the developer needs o do is create an IPN like from paypal, which will allow automation of payments work better and if a customer cancels then it wont allow the new usergroup

"You obviously have no idea what you are talking about". That was my first thought. This has nothing to do with IPN's.
Then I saw that you haven't even downloaded the add-on or seen the code, so it makes sense for you to be so off-base.

$27 would be worth it. But I would not get it unless it worked for vb5. At this point we will be going that way. So for us pay for it now and it not work in vb5 would be pointless. In fact I was kind of holding out and going to wait until this add on was set up for vb5 before switching.

Not to sound flippant; only one person said they're going to purchase the vB4 version of the rewrite; making it for vB5 right now wouldn't make sense, or be worth it (which would be $800-$1300 of my time).
