Advanced File Archive 2.0

What it does ?
This hack is integration of pafiledb to vbulletin.
Its complete new code. Nothing imported from pafiledb.

Currently this hack is working without any problem.
Tested on Local vb 2.2.9.
Also tnx limpkinw for testing it on his server ...

Current Version : 2.0

How to use ?
- Upload filesadmin.php to your forum admin dir.
- Upload filesinstall.php to your forum admin dir.
- Upload files.php to your forum dir.
- Access filesinstall.php and then click install.
- Access filesadmin.php to set it up.
- Add categories , files , custom fields.

Request anything you want i will try to add it

Bug? Huh? After 5 beta release ? There shouldnt be!

Why not just give credit to DrkFusion in your first post so this excellent hack can still be worked on

mist u dont get the point ..
drk and others accusing me of stealing their codes and creating this hack ..

just think .. is that can be possible ? are there any file archive hack ? by them or other ?

they accusing me of ripping codes/copying codes and so .. after hours of coding and testing ..

and think one more time : how can i steal thier codes ? drk released v 2.0 newly and my beta tests started on " 11-02-02 07:09 PM " which is still at beta hacks forum .. and my own tests b4 that date ? and those betas includes subcats , rating , letter view, advanced search and many more which still arent on they hack .. how man how ? and my 1.0 release only includes bug fixes ..

they said that i used same comment sytle .. same variable names .. oh my god ! i am using i,j,k as a loop variable in my codings on both java,c++,c,delphi,php, .. or others .. thats the matter ?

and the same codes they mentioned .. yes i used vb codes .. i have to , cause im coding a hack for vb .. is it false ? i use letter view and page/page view .. and other things .. as you know there is a coding standart in all hacks and files .. so i look into hacks to see how the other coders coded their hacks .. cause this hack will be published .. i look indentations , comment styles .. is that false ?

I released v1.0 before any of your hacks, which has the same form, I have the v1 script if anyone wishes to see, then I worked on v2.0 upgraded the original thread, edited the subject of the original thread.

That is the better thing to do, if you want proof of the above, just read the whole thread, you will see that I announce dates to release v2 and, in the install I have an upgrade file.

Also you are not understanding the real point are you? Did you even read the post(s) in the general discussion fully, your archive hack itselfis not the prob, check the coding, review over it all, you even used the same variables from mine into yours, and the whole first 6 lines are a ripp, and there are other stuff too.

The wrapped up point is, you should of asked permission before releasing it, without thinking I would not find it.

Also Erdem, Erwin asked for a simple yes or no, so he could confirm the deletion. I am really more upet, because even with proof, he keeps denying it, and credit given to me in this thread will/still not make this situation better due to his attitude.

PLEASE DISCONTINUE THIS ARGUMENT IN THE FULL RELEASES HACK, AND OTHER PLACES AND CONTINUE IT VIA PM, OR THE THREAD IN GENERAL DISCUSSION.

Relax guys, the hack is awsome.
A few suggestions:
- Ability to add different custom fileds for each category instead of all of them.
- When adding a file, the ability to specify the file´s category.
- Some kind of "rating system", where users can tell how they like (or dislike) a file.
- Report bad link (automatic send PM to (someone by UserID) or mail (seteable in php or some menu -admin CP-), with the link to repair)

this is the simulation of pafiledb ,so i used the same style ..

email file to friend also not implemented .. um do i have to ?

different custom fields per cat .. erm as i said b4 if you add custom cats to db in pafiledb it will show all of them while adding files ..

"When adding a file, the ability to specify the file?s category." this is for submission right ? i think this can be done by admins .. think of a db with 10+ similiar cats .. admins can decide that so users dont have categorize thier submissions .

if you set a forum for category the files in that category has a thread about it .. to discuss on it also to rate them via using thread rating .. i think it covers all the rating needs with the solution of vb cause if u gonna rate a file u may have to discuss with others .. but if you dont want threads about files this would be problem .. and as im using thread rating , additional rating system could be useless ..
