Add-On Releases - vBulletin-Carplate

What is vBulletin-Carplate:

With this addon you can create little car plates within your forum and even allow the use of it in other forums (with advertisement).

Installation

- !!! always create a backup from the database of your forum !!!
- upload files within folder 'upload' to your server via FTP.
- set chmod '777' for following directory:

• /vbcarplate/userplates/

- import 'product-vbcarplate.xml' in admincp
- check usergroup rights
- import wanted carplate types in admincp under 'vBulletin-Carplate' -> 'Manage carplates'
- do the settings under -> 'vBulletin-Carplate' -> 'Settings'
- done

If you dont use TMS you need to do the template modifications manually, check the '/templateedits'-folder for details. The AddOn doesnt work properly without those changes.

I wonder if this could be used to generate a random plate for a user upon registration

Well its been a few years and no reply. It looks like this mod is dead. To bad I would have loved to see this updated with US plates.
