how has he changed the world in 72 hrs - obviously he changed History by being first black president but changing the world is hard to believe.

Well, in two days time, Iraq has told us to leave in 2 months if they don't get their way.

Bring the boys and girls home. Let Iraq in it's infinite wisdom fix themselves the rest of the way. They must have learned arrogance from G W Bush.

Let's plan the welcome home party. Obama doesn't even have to force a withdrawal. This is a great day! We can't give Iraq concessions as they demand.

Welcome home troops!

I do have kids, but we don't buy into fear mongering. I fear my kids getting drafted for the "wrong" war, not all the Muslims in the world.

Our own laws dictate we cannot take preemptive action against an adversary. So why would we do that to another Country?

Hypocrisy and lies are why we are hated. Me and my kids want to change that, not escalate it.

But I'd love to hear what I need to be afraid of? They are not even afraid in Iraq and want us to leave in two months if they can control our troops. You want your kids there, under Iraqi Law and control?

I don't want anyone's kid there. They are ingrates, ignorant and arrogant.

Oh they think we are wrong we think they are wrong... but this was not about the war...
3 days has pass and I really congratulate the guy, but I don't want to take it out of proportion... the last guy I remember make a real difference on this world was, was... well even after Jesus we keep fighting [no religion invoked here]

Disagreements will always exist. The way we solve them dictates our character.

Right now, we look like characters, not people of character. That must change.

Preemptive bombing and taking control over those we disagree with does not solve issues, it escaates them. That is not productive.

take action means, have all securities on place to fulfill your protective roll of your love ones...
In fact I do believe no civilian should have died...

and power corrupts even the kindest soul...

But that's not what happened. I don't see your point in this debate? Yes, security in place, but when to use it is paramount.

If you are saying Obama will turn out like Bush, I think you shot your wad a bit too soon.

I enjoyed the debate while it lasted however. It's nice to talk civilly.

I never said like Bush... if you only can see 8 years behind and 3 days ahead, well that sample of history doesn't tell us too much...
