I'm sure the thread will be closed but just a note that the unprofessional statement from you should be brought into pm with boofo. |

Ummm, wasn't it someone else (Jase2) whom branded the vb.org staff as being arrogant?
I don't see anyone saying Boofo was arrogant here. Play fair indeed. |

I'm all for Boofo not coming back. He raises the average age far too much

The old guy is alive and well and I try to stay in contact with him when I can. Lately I've been busy with school though so I have not had the chance. You always hate to see someone like Boofo leave the community. He's held nearly every position here from clueless newbie to staff member. I'm sure he knows he'll be welcomed back with open arms if he ever decides to return. |

1. Jase2 says Boofo won't come back because of the staff's arrogant tone. 2. Danny asks the rhetorical question of how can the staff be considered arrogant, when the staff has donated their time to helping boofo (and everyone) with code related questions. 3. Shelly says, she doesn't think it's fair to call Boofo arrogant when he's not around. I didn't get to communicate much with Boofo before he left, but I liked him well enough. I did do a lot of reading of old posts on this forum, and Boofo did seem to be a little confrontational at times. But most of them, like most confrontations, are due to breakdowns in communication. Either someone reads someone else's post wrong, or we don't type our post out clearly enough to convey the mood behind it. Though, I have to say, the ladder is the most difficult to perfect. Nine times out of ten, people are going to imbue a post with whatever perception they have of that person when reading it. And if the post is a dissenting view, then it's even more likely to be read with a hostile tone, even if one was never intended. |
