Profile Enhancements - Xbox Live Gamercard Block in Profile

Step 1: Add a new Profile Field with the following options:

• Single-Line Text Box
• Title: Gamertag
• Description: Enter your Xbox Live Gamertag here.
• Max length of allowed user input: 15
• Field Length: 25
• Private Field: No
• Field Searchable on Members List: Yes
• Show on Members List: Your choice
• Which page displays this option? Edit Your Details

Remember the FieldID.

Step 2: Import the attached Product.

Step 3: Modify 2 templates.

1. Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Member Info Templates ->
memberinfo_block_gamercard.

Find $userinfo[fieldg] (4 Times!) and change the g to the Gamercard field number.

2. Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Member Info Templates -> MEMBERINFO

Look for:

$blocks[stats_mini]
$template_hook[profile_right_mini]
$blocks[friends_mini]
$blocks[albums]
$template_hook[profile_right_album]
$blocks[groups]
$blocks[visitors]

Put $blocks[gamercard] somewhere in between. Best option will be right after $blocks[friends_mini]:

$blocks[stats_mini]
$template_hook[profile_right_mini]
$blocks[friends_mini]
$blocks[gamercard]
$blocks[albums]
$template_hook[profile_right_album]
$blocks[groups]
$blocks[visitors]

Step 4: Go to Edit Your Details to add your gamertag to your profile.

To achieve this, Go to Edit Templates and go to memberinfo_block_gamercard.

In the template you'll see the following code:

<iframe src="http://gamercard.xbox.com/$userinfo[field10].card" frameborder="0" height="X" scrolling="no" width="X">$userinfo[field10]</iframe>

Your field numbers may be different, and I X'd out height and width because I had customized mine.

Just simply change the code to this:

<iframe src="http://card.mygamercard.net/nxe/$userinfo[field10].png" frameborder="0"  scrolling="no" height="120" width="245">$userinfo[field10]</iframe>

Just make sure to change the height and width to match your theme and you're good to go!

the mod works just in the user profile - not in the post view (postbits - like in the preview picture).

is there a installation step missing in the tutorial or what is wrong?
