I'm new to vB and I'm really hoping to get an auction system soon. I used phpBB2 before and used phpbb-auction with that. My users really miss having auctions on the forum, so I'll take any help I can get

No, I'm not the author of proBid, but I did have it integrated with 3.6. There is, however, a site that specializes in integrating vB with proBID... http://www.nashbrooklyn.com/forums/
