Since the bridgescript that comes with Coppermine 1.4.2 for vBulletin doesn't work at all I started digging in the script and corrected it to finally work.
While I was at it I also added support for the vBulletin 3.5.x branch
Installation:
Easy!
Just upload the "vbulletin30.inc.php" from this archive into your Coppermine's bridge folder while OVERWRITING the existing one.
You can then launch the bridgemanager (http:/www.yourdomain.tld/gallery/bridgemgr.php) and set everthing up.
That should have done it.
If you followed all the instructions from the manual and the bridgemanager you should now have a fine working Coppermine with your vBulletin.
I tested this myself on my own forums with the following setups:
I'm getting the same error with the user galleries as Xzyte did.
I'm wondering if perhaps we're actually meant to edit the vbulletin30.inc.php from this hack with our values where it's got "http://www.yousite.com/vb3", etc, or if it was just meant to be uploaded as is like the instructions seemed to say.
Hmm, it's just meant to be uploaded. No edits to the PHP itself are necessary since every config detail is either read from vB's config.php or entered in the bridge manager....
I'll dig some deeper into this, maybe I find something....
Hi, I've installed Coppermine and got the bridge working. Excellent - thank you! However, I have several user groups and chose the option to use them when setting up the bridge. So I'm using the usergroups from my Vb. Unfortunately, whilst it is using the groups, the names of the groups (seen when you want to restrict certain albums to certain user groups) is only listing the first letter/character of each group.
So the Registered users group just become R. Admin- A, Moderators- M etc etc. I can just about identify which is which, but users when they want to restrict access to their own private albums have no idea!
I tried renaming then via the Admin > Groups but they just went back to a single character again. It's not a huge problem but any ideas?
OK, I managed to get the "only first char of groupname" on my local test install.
Currently trying to figure out why this happens - at least a start
For that user-gallery error:
can someone with that error put CPG in debugmode (found under "Maintanance Settings" in the main Config) and send me the complete debug-output via PM (atfer eventually "*"ing out anything noone is supposed to see )
If I get to know WHAT query blows I might at least know where to start looking :ninja:
The only ways I can upload any pictures is in either Admin/Admin mode, or set the album permissions to allow guest uploads on an individual album (Admin/User mode doesn't upload either).
I get a message:
Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files
Even setting guest group permissions doesn't work.

Here is a screenshot of the error I get.
I will send you the "Debug Info" per PM.
