Well I was talking mainly for forums, especially on webmaster's forums. Most greeks are too scared to do that in real life (although they have the thoughts) so they end up flaming in forums and they are full of sarcasm. Also, Greece has changed a lot since the 70s... I'm sure it has changed. But it's like anything else, not living there, I would you never see the daily goings on that you probably see and get fed up with. You have to admit, though, the "you suck" guy does add a bit of rustic charm to the place.

Tempting as it may seem, I wouldn't like to see my board at such a list so I won't do something that I don't like being done on me

We may see it as funny but the admin of the board will not.

EDIT: Actually... You know, I'm not certain that they won't like it. Assuming that they are doing it for a show, they should be happy when on top. And the rating doesn't have to be for the purpose of making fun (which I didn't even mean originally). I think, It would be simply cool to know who's the most heavily modded. Plus it's more new registrants for them

Well, with 3.5 I started installing hacks and got into how the template system works and so on. Still After looking over the list of hacks actually installed and active on my board it's ok in my opinion. Most of them are under the hood things. With a few exceptions like vBShout (currently disabled tho) or vBIbProArcade (after all this is a game related board). One thing to keep in mind tho, even with a lot more hacks installed you can keep your board neat and tidy looking, but that involves lot of template redoing and includes much fun in the next update.

But hey, playing around with vB can be fun, or why else are there so many Coders around
