I have to agree with the other posters here. I emailed the guy about half a dozen times to purchase this script with no type of response. His forum area has been down for days.

I have been in close contact with sqrtboy since I bought this, so I find your comments hard to believe.
I know sqrtboy is about to release VBTT version 2 and is going to make version 1.XX open source.

I recommend getting a hold of hongfire's guy, maybe hongfire can mention this to him to see if he would be willing to post up a pay mod for it somewhere. It works well and the developer is there for you when you need him, not hit and miss as it is with vbtt. Hongfire's guy is no more expensive and his worked great for me when vbtt had a lot of problems, which I never got resolved because of lack of support. Not that he doesn't always respond but when you are setting up a site you don't want to wait 2 weeks to get everything fixed after paying good money for it.

I have never had a problem with SqrtBoy and his scripts. I run a legal BitTorrent live music community and he has always been responsive and helpful. There were 4 or 5 very small bugs and he has fixed every single one including offering me additional assistance with add ons, asking for no additional money.

It is a good integration and worth every penny.

I took Olaf's script and let me tell you, this 100 Euros bought me not only an excellent add on to the forums but Olaf's most corteous and patient help. He personally installed most of the stuff himself, customized his script and files, troubleshooting my problems and fixed all up for no extra charge. He never made me feel like the idiot I am when it comes to torrents. He comes highly recommended and I tell you I never experienced support provided by anyone the way he did it. We are talking emails galore, MSN Messenger hand holding through a 6 hour time zome difference. If you go and get his script you know it will work and not be a resource hog when all is up and running. The man is a torrent guru.

Just an FYI...

Well, the VBTT version 1.3 is going to be freely available as indicated in this topic here: http://www.filesoup.com/forum/index....pic=98052&st=0

The release is expected to be available around mid to end month.

Phpsoft has already released a freely available ipbtt integration here http://phpsoft.org/ipbtt.php
