sounds interesting...i dont understand search stuff so much...ive installed sphinx before but am i right this is more of an alternative? or something that would be used along with sphinx...

thanks sounds great either way

You can use it either way. The Threadloom plug-in routes all standard searches via your new cloud search index. Advanced searches will go through whatever you have installed today on yoru forum, whether sphinx or native vBulletin search.

I like this but it suddenly stopped working after a couple of days. I see the following message in admincp: "Your account name or access key is invalid".

This happened soon after upgrading to the latest version of the plugin but whether it is related to that I have no idea.

PM me your account name and I'll take a look. We had some sites that fell outside of our community standards and it's possible the notifications didn't get through.
