Where would they obtain VBulletin license holder email addresses? Regardless, if it is an employee then it's inappropriate and should be dealt with.

If this turns out to be the case hopefully it's not handled as another CYA situation.

Given you just spent the last week commenting about the fact the vb.org database was accessed by hackers, its not rocket science to figure out a possible source.

Yes, vBulletin5 needs much more time however I started to see a more stable now. Don't upgrade until you see that it's the right time for your users and your site.

About if it's mine or not, It's not 100% mine we are more than one but I'm one of them.

I can understand that, but at the same time, you bought the subject up, and inferred that they were associated with the sending of the e-mails.

What you really mean is that this person is one of a few people associated with the vbrewrite project - other than that, there is nothing to currently link them with the e-mail.

If you go to their website and click the purchase link you get an error that the SSL certificate is registered to vbrewrite, not vbfoster.

So it looks like it is the same people as behind vbfoster.
