Mini Mods - PL9-Quote

CANCELED: I have sold my licenses and will no longer release addons for vBulletin. I have found a new forum software that is currently in alpha testing. I plan to use it and convert all addons to it. Thank you all for your support and use of my addons. Sorry if I did not deliver exactly what you all wanted but when a great product becomes crappy then I bail before I lose anymore money in it.

I am currently working on a version that will interact with Template Modification System flawlessly. So far no bugs or errors so I may be releasing v1.5.1.

Oh I REALLY like that I hope those quote marks are PNG's so they look nice on all background colors, now how specifically do I do that and can I get those images??? It looks great and I am not that savvy so I need some help.

Steve is already working on those changes and they will be 'built-in' once he gets the update out. I'd wait until his update, this way you don't have to do edits all of the time when upgrading.

The images are png so that they show nicely on any background.

Good idea of the page with all (or a random 25 or something) quotes! :up:

I just got an error when attempting to edit an existing quote....

Database error in vBulletin 3.8.4:

Invalid SQL:
UPDATE bfc_quotes
SET quote = 'There's a lady who shows
all that glitters is gold.
And she's buying a stairway to heaven.', username = 'ArnyVee'
WHERE id = '1' LIMIT 1;

MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's a lady who shows
all that glitters is gold.
And she's buying a stairway to h' at line 2

....looks like it had something to do with the use of the apostrophe. I took out the apostrophe marks and the quote was able to be saved. Can you make sure that it gets corrected when you do the next update?
