Did it but didn't work. I noticed there are two Configs. One config.php and one Config.phpnew

without full acces to the admin panel i cant really see whats wrong, i would suggest editing the test skin to include all the features of the default skin and see if the drop downs remain working, if they do, i would delete the default skin and rename the test skin to default
