There are restrictions?

I've seen any number of modifications which begin with BROUGHT TO YOU BY .... in ten-foot letters. Sometimes they even include it in the name of the modification itself. If that's OK, what's restricted?

But anyway, I was going to move bugs and feature requests to my own tracker whilst maintaining other support and help here, is that going to be a problem?

There are quite a few. One of the big ones is, if you only support your hack externally then you have to mark it as unsupported. So you can't just redirect people to your support site - you have to support it in two places.
