Hack Support
This hack is now discontinued - this means that while it will remain available for download and use, there will be no further updates, nor will support be provided as the thread is no longer monitored.
Please click Mark as Installed if you are using this hack.
NOTE: I have marked this hack as Re-usable Code - This means that code from this hack may be used in other hacks, which can ONLY be released on official vB sites that use Jelsoft's verification system to verify your vBulletin license status, and as long as I am credited in your hack.
NOTE 2: The now obsolete vBLightbox for v3.6.x is available here.
vBulletin Version Compatibility
This hack has be tested with v3.5.8. This has not been tested with earlier versions, but should work.
This hack integrates the script in with vBulletin and uses a BBCode (in this case my custom IMGW tag) to display a full size overlay picture with a nice expanding image of a reduced size picture.
The Demo has now been removed, as I do not have this hack installed any more.
This is NOT the same hack that Ntfu2 has posted here. His differs from mine as his has file edits and affects attachments.
My hack concerns images posted using my custom version of the IMG tag and has no file edits at all.
I hope you enjoy this hack as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
Known Issues
The AJAX Quick Edit does not work with this hack installed.

We had a problem on our site which caused a small java error .. when the vbulletin.com staff checked we found out that the error is caused by a recently uploaded product ..
We disabled one by one and it was caused by this one ...
This is the error :
You (or we at least) get the error when quick edit a post and save it .. when you refresh, the change is still visible or you go to advanced and save then ..

We had to uninstall for now
This error was already highlighted when I posted the modification, I already know about it. It is also in the instructions -

If you read the first post also, it says that it is a known error. All Lightbox modifications here will have the same problem, as there is some conflict between the javascript in vBulletin and Lightbox.
Unless someone can come up with a fix for this, then it will stay an known problem, as I am not crash hot at Javascripting.
Let me think about an excuse that I did not read it

Ah yes, I am a man and men don't read manuals
It is those sorts of comments that make coders here not want to provide support for their modifications. If you can not be bothered to read the instructions at all, then why should I even try to provide support to you???
To others who need support for my modifications, please read and follow the instructions before posting here for support (also ensure you have clicked Install, as I will not support people who have not).

Geez, it was a joke ... why is everybody so tense lately ...
Ok so I just installed this - all I keep getting is a box that when I click opens the image, but nothing fancy
Click on the image to view the full size picture
Click on the image to view the full size picture
thats all I get. No image -until I click and then it just opens a window to view the image....
edit:
Are you aware that the XML in the zip is "product-ibproarcade.xml"
You have your products wrong, the xml in the zip is "product-jd20060608.xml" (I just downloaded the zip myself to confirm), you have your products mixed up, no wonder you have a problem, please try using the correct product, and it should sort your problem out. Download the zip again just to be on the safe side and unzip in a new location away from everything else.
