To hold people over until I get the full updated version with new features released, I'm posting this Interim version that has been tested / updated for vBulletin 3.7.x

There are no new features in this release, it is simply compatability updates and minor bug fixes. There are changes to both files & templates, but no changes to the iTrader tables.

Description:
iTrader for vBulletin has evolved from Trader Ratings for vB 3.0.x which evolved from Buy/Sell/Trade User Rating System for vB 2.x. This is a rating system for when members buy / sell / trade items from each other (presumably on a FS section of your forum). It is somewhat based on the honor system since there is no automatic way to truly tell if they did engage in a transaction. iTrader came about because it was a pain to try and maintain a single thread listing good / bad traders and so far has worked out quite well.

Features:
  • Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
  • Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
  • Leave multiple comments about the deal
  • Dates & IPs are all recorded to prevent abuse
  • Specify a thread URL to the deal
  • Advanced URL checking
  • Display ratings over time
  • Filter based on Buyer/Seller/Trade/or feedback they left for others
  • Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)
  • iTrader Admins can edit/delete anyone's ratings (just incase)
  • PM notification when new rating or comment is left
  • Per-usergroup permissions
  • Lots of admin controllable options

Installation / Upgrade Info:
Read the included readme file, it explains everything.

There are no issues with vbseo. It doesn't create any problems with thread rewriting.

Sure it is a problem with vBSEO.
When thread rewriting is enabled it shops up the url in the iTrader panel when submitting a iTrader so that only the last part shows like /showthread......php leading to a invalid url error message.

I am still not getting anything to come up in the usergroup area. I cannot edit the usergroups or anythng. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction? I am totally clueless about this stuff and I would really like to get this working on our board.

You did something improperly with itrader during install or you have something configured improperly with vbSEO. It works with no problems with my thread re-write on.

iTrader is installed by the book and vBSEO is running in default mode. It works great when I turn thread rewriting off in the advanced options panel.
I'm sure you are talking about the same as I, THREAD REWRITING and not POST REWRITING...?

I'm looking for an alteration to this system that allows ratings to be placed in moderation, and I'd be willing to pay for it.

I run a trading forum and something like being able to moderate and review the TR's left would be very beneficial to the integrity of the system in general. Perhaps implemented as an admincp toggle on/off option. On my site, we require users to be very specific about the trade details they leave in their feedback.

Basically I'm just looking for a way to have TR's sent to a moderation queue for review by mods/admins on a daily basis before they are made public to other users. To a lesser degree, I'd also like to be able to rate trades on a "per trade" basis rather than one TR "per user" (this could also be implemented as a toggle option), but the two features go hand in hand. I wouldn't want to open up that can of worms unless my site mods could also review trade ratings before they take effect.

IMO these two simple functions would really turn iTrader into something solid and viable. As of right now there seems to be no way to monitor the system and ensure the validity of a TR before the fact other than a simple mandatory thread reference.

Anyone interested in having a go at this? Thanks in advance.

I would also be willing to donate towards this.

Also, does this version work with older versions of vBulletin? If not, why was the 3.6 version added to the graveyard?

I have a question. I have just unistalled this mod, as no one on my site uses it

But im now getting errors emailed to me.

Database error in vBulletin 3.7.3:

Invalid SQL:

SELECT languageid,
phrasegroup_global AS phrasegroup_global,
phrasegroup_itrader AS phrasegroup_itrader,
phrasegroup_posting AS phrasegroup_posting,
phrasegroup_prefix AS phrasegroup_prefix,
options AS lang_options,
languagecode AS lang_code,
charset AS lang_charset,
locale AS lang_locale,
imagesoverride AS lang_imagesoverride,
dateoverride AS lang_dateoverride,
timeoverride AS lang_timeoverride,
registereddateoverride AS lang_registereddateoverride,
calformat1override AS lang_calformat1override,
calformat2override AS lang_calformat2override,
logdateoverride AS lang_logdateoverride,
decimalsep AS lang_decimalsep,
thousandsep AS lang_thousandsep
FROM vb_language
WHERE languageid = 1;

MySQL Error : Unknown column 'phrasegroup_itrader' in 'field list'

Can anyone shed some light on how to fix that error?

Many thanks

If anyone has this problem ...

First, take a backup for 2 table "iTrade" and "itrader_comments."

Uninstall it and plug-in, then reinstall it.

They all finished setting and try it.

If everything in order to restore its backup.

And last, make them play from admincp "update users iTrade scores"

that was all.

Regard
