That is really strange, are these users actually verifying their email?

Just enabled this again. Will see what it does. I've had one registration since enabling it and did not get the error.
One thing that it didn't do though. The message did not link the new users name to his profile. |

OK...I see where it has to be setup in the control panel. I don't fully understand it though. It says:
HTML Code:
$username = The username of the member who joined. $url = The base url for your site, ie: http://www.MYSITE.com $bbtitle = The title of your site set in vboptions Site Name / URL / Contact Details Should you want the username to link to the profile use this, [url="$url/member.php?u=$userid2"]$username[/url] |

Just as it says, [url="$url/member.php?u=$userid2"]$username[/url ] when it is actually posted would be the nname of the user that joined, and clicking on that name would lead you to their profile.
It does auto pull the url of your site. |

Well, still getting the error. I have no idea how to fix it so I guess I'll just disable it. Sorry.

Can anybody tell me how to add the new users location to the title bar.
At this time, I have it configured to say something like Please welcome our newest user, John Doe. I would like it to add their location, Please welcome our newest user, John Doe from Texas. or wherever. |

That is not available at this time. I think it would require modifying of the code, to grab the specific profile field and use it in the title.

I guess I'll have to give up on this one. I have been unable to figure out what is causing this problem but it hasn't gone away I had a welcome thread mod on my 3.8.7 forum and never had an issue. I've disabled other plugins, changed it to post thread before email activation, turned off TapaTalk in app registration. I don't know what to do. Would love for this to work but it just isn't for me.

Yeah I don't know why it is not getting the user id, with over 100 installs of this, no one else has reported the issue.
