A lot of my members are telling me that they are having to click on every image because they're not sure if it's been resized or not. It would be really nice if this add-on either only made images clickable if they had been resized, or added a on-liner above the image saying "This image has been resized from its original resolution of X by Y pixels." Some of the resizers for vB 3.8 and earlier did this and I think it was very helpful.
Is it possible that the inability to see the buttons has more to do with WIN7 rather than IE8?
I checked today and I can see the buttons with IE8 on with my XP laptop.
You told me IE 8 had the problem. Now your telling my its IE 7. Which is it you are having problems with so I can check into it.

Read the thread and you will see where I said I would add that in the next release.
Having to repeat my self over and over in modification threads is not helping me get them updated.
Please people read the thread almost all answers are here.
This might sound a bit retarded but will it re-size images in a CMS article?
Your answer was in the first post.
Info:
This modification will resize images using css max-width and max-height. Also included is LyteBox. This works on user signatures and posted images and now Blogs.
I can not stress this enough people, please read the thread.

Bit tired mate?
I have IE8 on two machines and I am asking you if its at all possible if it could be Windows7 causing the problem.
I can see the "Close Button" on my XP machine using IE8 as the browser but I can't see the "Close Button" on my Windows 7 machine using IE8 as the browser.
I can however see the "Close Button" on my Windows 7 machine using both FireFox and Chrome Browsers.

Yes I was/am tired fianc?e woke me up at 12:10am and I been up since. Now that I reread your post I see win7 I read IE7 LMAO.
Sorry about that.
Hmmm Windows 7 and IE8 cause the problem. I don't want to say it's a browser issue cause it works with IE8 on windows XP. I don't want to say its a OS problem because I do not see how that has anything to do with the browser.
Have you cleared your cookies, cache, and temp files on IE8 for the Windows 7 machine?
