Turn a forum into an article forum. Sub-forums are turned into categories.
  • Posts/Articles show in searches & in new posts
  • Create as many sub-forums/ categories as you need
  • Follows forum permissions
  • Can still rate thread, etc.
  • Different postbits for article and replies (comments)
  • Choose what to display in postbit for article and comments
  • Choose what to display on articles in vBulletin Options
* Not compatible with 3.7.x forums *

Installation:
  1. Upload articles.php
  2. Import product file
  3. Create a forum in admincp
  4. Go to vBulletin Options->Article forum Options
Remember to click Mark as Installed to receive updates and support
Possible Future Additions:
  • Make article collapsible
  • Allow multiple article forums

Thank you for your answer. I tested it by using [IMG] tags in the beginning of text and still get the link inside the tags instead of the image. showthread works fine to me too. Its the article page that i experience the issue.

Hey, great Mod...look forward to seeing it develop.

Couple of things:

- Would it be possible to make the First Thread/Article 'Collapsible' please?

- How do you add pics to the before the 'Thread titles' in articles.php display? (as per your Demo)

Installed and works good for me.

Once I switch a forum to the articles mode how do I switch it back to the regular?

upload the artices.php to the forum root and overrite the file then upload and over rite the plugin
