Thank you for bringing this subject up! Being really really new here, I have looked and looked (even posted once) to find out what that little box was! At first I thought it was a link that somehow installed!! Felt pre-kindergarten level when I couldn't *get it* :surprised: Now I totally understand!
Actually I would probably use it both to say thanks and to keep track of what is currently installed and working for me. I do see what you are suggesting if some of the mods will not work on new or upcoming versions as they come out, and we are using the install mod thing to also help us keep track, one would have a tendency maybe to uninstall and not realize or intend any disrespect or unthankfulness.
