vMembers manages subscription purchases and downloads

What is vMembers? Say a member buys your good via a vB paid subscription. If the good is a script, the members goes to vMembers, wherever you have it installed, and can download the script. However, before the member can download, the member is prompted to agree to your license agreement and could be asked to insert a domain name for the script.

vMembers takes care of vB database changes via product, and there are no vB file changes. vMembers adds several templates, a bunch of phrases, and one new file with its own queries. While vMembers uses vB to login, vMembers does not need to be within the vB forum directory. You can install vMembers in its own directory, and name the new file what you choose.

vMembers works off the vB subscription and profile information. Other than setting a path in the new file, you can control vMembers using the current ACP. If you know how to run vB paid subscriptions, then you can run vMembers. If you do not like vMembers, check out Ron1n's vBPurchase here.

If you install vMembers, click the install button. This allows you to receive update notices, should any be sent. It is also a nice way to say thanks!

Side Notes: Attached images are somewhat out of date. Some skins and this mod may not get along.

@pepel13: missing semicolons at the end of three lines around line 120, so just add them:

Is it possible for this script not to operate by subscription, but by usergroups instead?

@Bad Bunny: vMembers uses subscriptions so that only subscribed members in certain usergroups who fill out their profile field are allowed access. If you are looking to make a page that just uses usergroups to determine access, you might be interested in this instead.

I like the functionality of your script, but I don't use the subscription service any longer. I am using a shop that places people in a secondary usergroup when they buy something.

I am in no way looking for a way to let people log into the site from a non-vb page.

@Bad Bunny: this mod with this edit will only allow members in primary/secondary usergroups you allow to access the page. "Yet Another vB Login on non-vB Page" is sort of a misnomer as the "non-vB Page" is example.php, which is a stripped down version of vMembers members.php. Sorry, I don't have the time now to make a mix of the two, but if you use the other mod, you can set your own content.
