*UPDATE: 5/31/2005, change the number of pictures to be displayed, fix the instructions file.


I made this for my own need and since there're no working hacks to display random images from 4images gallery on forumhome, I think.


This hack is credited to Nicky(http://www.nicky.net) @ 4images.de
I made it to work with vbulletin3.0 in template.


Modifications:
- forums/index.php
- new template: random_pic

- vBulletin 3.0.x installed and working
- 4images 1.7 fresh installed and working
- 4images and vBulletin are installed to use the SAME database
- 4images Gallery 1.7 + vB 3.0.x hack

Create a module for it. same script, make it modulized, add to module folder, add module, then you have it in CMPS

thank you for your hack, very well

On the other hand, which name gives your to new the template ??
it is a pity which it have there only one image which is posted, when to go to improve you the hack to post more than one picture ?

Hi Pyxis,

how can you get it? I having problem with the "require_once('./global.php');" even if I can specific the right location (../global)

Can you help?

Does anyone know how to exclude certain galleries from being displayed in the random image?

is it possible to add 3 images instead of 1, please?

and I understand this can be adapted for use with vBadvanced gallery?

I've updated so that you can have how many pictures as you want.

also fixed the instruction.
