man sounds to me like a very crappy hacker, if all they are doing is deleting files than it really is no big deal...
next time you are up and going,, just dl your whole pulic html folder to your pc, than all ya gotta do is upload agfain and hope for no problems.
but for a junior hack like this , and you say that you changed your ftp pass and admin cp pass,
than , my next guess would be that someone is reading your emails, and getting your passwords the same time you are.
make sure you change email pass everytime also, and make sure passwords are not the same.
at least they are not damaging your db
