First off I would like to simply say, if you offered to pay for the hacks you want made, you could possibly get this hacks you want created...
I like this hack idea so if it has yet to be created and if I have some spare time on my hands I may just whip somehting up real quick. Let me know what kind of things you want implemented or how you would want to do something of this sort. |

Thanks. The implementation that I envision would work through the "Thread Tools" menu. Users could click, hit "Ignore this thread," and then that thread would go completely invisible to them... From there, on the usercp page, there would be a section that lists the threads that are currently being ignored, with a button next to it that says "un-ignore this thread." When clicked, that thread would go back to being visible. I wish I could pay, but I'm just making ends meet right now. |

Why not just create/base it as another thread subscription style? That way you minimize DB,template, and file changes. The new subscription style would put that thread in "coventry" for just that user.
Sometimes rather than begging people to figure out a solution for you, try making the hack yourself, you will never learn until you try... |
