This is an interesting idea, could be useful for a number of different types of websites. The main problem I see though, is maintaining the list of items. Someone would have to work hard at adding new titles (of whatever it is) to the db on a regular basis.

Yeah, adding new items to the list can't be THAT hard, lol.

Unless you're a general underground music site and need to add 1000 new CDs a week. Even movies or DVDs, there are what? 10 mainstream releases everyweek at the most?
