It's easier to find any specific hack, but now it is much harder to find new hacks and hack threads recently posted in, etc. Sometimes 2 beats 18.

There are pros and cons of each idea. From our perspective, the current categorization and subforums have advantages that outweigh the disadvantages.

If you want to access new hacks, you can always use the list in the main page. It lists the hacks for the last 2-4 weeks.

i dont like way the sections are made for the hacks as they all in sub sections.Maybe easier for others to find etc but i hate it cause when u go inside full hacks u see certain sections lit up but to read all posts u gotta go though each section indiviually.
Whereas the ld way you just got 1 or 2 pages and just read em that way.

Who decided to make em that way ?

you just made a lot more work for us + also a lot of posts are gonna go un-noticed as each and every one has to go in each sub section to see if there are any new posts.

I suppose we could always use `Get new Posts` from main forum page but this shows every post on the board from all sections.

I find vb.org not as easy to navigate now and this is not cause u upgraded to vb3 either - its because u made all sub sections and means a lot of looking for stuff for the end user.

Whew... took me a while to debug, but it finally works. Enjoy the option of using the New Layout or the Old Layout.

Well, since my other thread was met with the equivalent of "your opinion doesn't matter," I figure I would add something here instead.

Is there a way to extend this "Old Layout" link so that when you respond to a thread, you aren't automatically taken back to the subforums?

I can think of ways, but they would be complicated to implement. Anyway, just a thought.

It doesn't do that for me.
